Youth Mentoring Program

 

Target age group: 11-17 years old

 

Mission Statement:

The mission statement of the C.A.R.E Youth Mentoring Program is to inspire, encourage and develop the minds of young girls. By facilitating mentoring relationships, providing opportunities for reflection and self-examination, and teaching practical self-awareness skills.

Keitora Smith

Keitora Smith resides in Dunn NC. With aspirations of becoming a Neonatal Nurse working in a Children’s Hospital. She has a heart for helping and serving those in need. Her hobbies include reading, shopping, and relaxing with family and friends. She is the founder of the CARE Mentoring Program, where she motivates young women to shine their light and to be a voice within their community. A 2018 graduate of Fayetteville State University. While attending college she was involved in Global Mentors, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Girl Scout Troop Leader, and Bronco Women. She enjoys mentoring and creating meaningful relationships with young women through encouragement and positivity. Her hopes are to enrich lives and promote development among community-minded young women.
