Spiritual Allergies

Where’s the Discernment

Matthew 24:21-26 verse 24For there shall arise false Christ’s, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Let’s clarify that Matt. 24:24 describes the time of the Great Tribulation after the Church is gone, so the”very elect” the Lord was referring to are Tribulation believers, not the Church.  However; we do know the prince of this world has blinded the minds of those who seek to please self…(talking about believers).

The purpose of this message is to give a clear and a concise understanding of how the believer should be walking.  The scriptures are clear “that we (believers) are to walk by faith and not by sight”.  When it comes to the aspect of walking, the believer is often traveling down the road of disillusion, a mixture of self-exaltation, pride, and an abundance of arrogance!  This lethal combination has led to a generation of self inflicting attacks because the believers navigational system is one where its set on pleasing the flesh and not allowing God to be Lord in every area of our lives.  The various mixtures of doctrines, religions, traditions of men, life’s events, along with the spirit of the age; has led to a “spiritually deadly” pill that the body of Christ has succumb to.  When one does not know how to decipher between dosages along with proper usage of God’s Word in order to grow and sustain one who has been partaking by which they’ve been feeding; they can and often will create a toxic combination that’ll eventually cause one to become spiritually sick.

Spiritual discernment is calling on the Holy Spirit to lead or give direction on a matter. It is how the Spirit shows the church or its people what God wants them to do and be.  There is discernment of: gifts, spirits, actions, intents, and the course of the times we live in.  Discernment is the act or process of exhibiting keen insight and good judgment.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

Romans 10:14-17 verse So then Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God

Galatians 1:6-9 verse 9 As we said before, so say I now again. If any man Preach any other gospel unto you than that you have received, let him be accursed.

What can combat spiritual allergies?:

Ephesians 2: 8-9 verse 8 For by Grace are yes Saved through Faith; and not of yourselves it is a gift from God

Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

1 Cor 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
